Northern Virginia Daily published a preview article for the next show at Wayside a few days ago.  It does a good job of summing up both the point of the show and the state of the theater.

Art imitates life: Wayside production set in Great Depression

One thing I learned from the article was that Wayside will be selling “pay-what-you-can” tickets for Thursday and Friday night performances.  Good idea.  A show about hard economic times should be accessible to people who are living it.

Rehearsals Begin For Southern Crossroads

Larry’s next show at Wayside Theatre, Southern Cross Roads, is slated to open January 31st.

This music review will feature standard favorites such as “House of the Rising Sun”, Going Down the Road Feeling Bad”, “Cripple Creek”, “Tom Dooley”, “I Saw the Light”, “Shenandoah”, “Sally Goodin’ “, “Midnight Special”, “Keep On the Sunny Side” and “Worried Man Blues.”
